Warranty and returns

We offer a lifetime guarantee for all Jakkusu scissors. If any scissors are found to be faulty, they should be returned to JAXS workshops. The team will conduct a full inspection upon their arrival. If any issues are detected, we will promptly fix the problems free of charge and return the scissors to the customer.

Please note that any damage caused by the customer, such as dropping and resulting chipping or breaking, overly tightening the pivot screw, or cross-threading the pivot screw, will not be covered by the warranty. Additionally, resharpening the scissors is not included in the warranty.

We do not replace lost or stolen scissors or stones. If we determine that scissors are unrepairable, it is at our discretion whether to provide a replacement.

JAXS skins undergo a 25-stage process to achieve durability for everyday use. Please take care of them appropriately to avoid damaging your image, as this is not covered by the warranty.

Send your scissors with JAXS skins only to JAXS workshops for sharpening. Poorly sharpened blades can damage the steel and image. Initial sharpening won't cause this issue, and if your scissors are too damaged due to dropping, you can redeem the free full Skin service included with your purchase.

When sending your scissors for sharpening, we'll determine whether the full package is necessary. This is recommended for deep chipping where the image needs to be reapplied.

Changing your mind after purchasing personal items like scissors is common. JAXS offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. To qualify, scissors must be returned unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging at the customer's expense.
